Day in Yellowstone!
While we were at my Mom and Dad's we got to go to Yellowstone NP for the day on Monday. It was nice because I haven't been in a while. July isn't exactly the best time to go... there are a ton of people and you usually don't see as much wildlife because of the heat.... but it was still fun. My sister Sarah and her little girl Allie and my nephew Cameron came with my Mom, me, and the boys... We took several walks to keep the kids from being too cranky in the car, and we saw bull elk, cow elk with their babies, coyotes, buffalo with their babies, and all kinds of birds. The wildflowers were spectacular and still in full bloom due to the fact that the spring was so mild that the snow hasn't been melted there for very long. Yellowstone is one of my most favorite places in the whole world. While I was growing up, we took family day trips at least twice a year. Michael and I went there on our honeymoon, and Michael has been hooked ever since, so we've been back for many trips as well.

We have never been, but really want to. I bet the baby animals were so cute.
