Playing at Blacktail in the Boat!

My sister Sarah and my brother-in-law Tim just recently purchased a ski boat, and were kind enough to take us out for some fun. I have to admit that I'm not much of a water person... I don't mind pools, but lakes and rivers are a different story. I think it might have something to do with the fact that you can't see through the water... it's dark and spooky... and it might also have more to do with some bad experiences I had as a teenager with a certain boyfriend and his ski boat, one of which included the boat breaking down and going over a small water diversion dam and thinking I was going to drown... and also, I'm not a great swimmer... but enough of Shan's confessions. I have never attempted water skiing and probably never will. Anyway... we headed out and just drove around for awhile and then Tim asked Logan if he wanted to ride on the tube. I thought Logan would say no way, but he hesitated which told me he was kind of thinking about it but was a little unsure. Tim went first to show Logan how it worked and then Logan took the leap and went with Tim while Sarah drove the boat. After his first try with Tim, he asked me if he could go by himself, and he did and loved it. I was so proud of him. He did something I have always been too big of a chicken to try. Ty and Sarah's little girl Allie both seemed to like riding in the boat. Ty especially like the bouncing up and down when we were sitting in the front of the boat.
