Home From Idaho

The next several posts are from my trip to Idaho with Logan and Ty to visit my Mom and Dad and brothers and sisters. We had a really good time. We should have stayed longer... we came home to an empty house. While I was driving home Michael called to let me know that his helicopter and crew had received an off district assignment to Northern California. They went as far as Reno tonight and will go the rest of the way in the morning. I was already gone a week and now he will be gone for at least two weeks, so I'm trying to be a good fire wife and not let it get to me. It's like Max always tells me... " You have to make hay while the sun shines." I know that's true and I'm so thankful Michael is willing to work so hard to support us without complaint... I'm not always as good at the not complaining part. Thanks for putting up with me Honey! I love you... and be careful.

You inspire me. Here I am worrying about Bryant having to leave us for 10 days in September. Then I read your blog and think to myself, "Shut up you big whiner."
