House Update

So... we heard news on the house offer yesterday, and unfortunately it wasn't what we were hoping to hear. The listing agent said the bank was moving on the highest offer... which wasn't ours... and then if that didn't work out for some reason they would move on the second highest offer... which wasn't ours... and if for some reason that didn't work out they would move on to the third offer... which is ours. So, it doesn't seem likely that both of the first two offers will fall through, so we're going to withdraw our offer, and if by some chance they do fall through we'll consider making another offer at that point. I can't say I'm not disappointed, but I know everything happens for a reason, and we'll find the right home eventually... I'm actually feeling more disappointed today than I was yesterday when we got the news, but I'm trying to not be too in the downy dumps about it.
