Peg's Birthday Weekend
So I'm finally getting around to posting some of the pictures from the weekend we spent in Richfield for Peg's birthday. One of the gifts we gave her was a geocache in her honor called the birthday cache. We had a lot of fun going out and stashing it. Gramps reccomended the old Belnap ranger station location, and it is a cool place. All that's left of the ranger station is the foundation of the building, the still standing wooden flagpole, and a cave they blasted out of the rock to use for cold storage. From the pictures you can probably tell where we hid the cache. It's right off of I-70 so hopefully it will see some traffic and get visited often. We also found several other caches including one at Richfield City Park. It was a great weekend of fun and relaxation.
