Free Piano!!!
I know... it's not the prettiest thing to look at, but it's really mine. I was playing postlude in relief society last Sunday when this nice lady, Ruth Brooks, who I know by name only, came up to me and said she had heard that I could use a piano. Not sure what she was getting at, I said yes that I could use one and she said she had one she was going to take to DI unless she could find someone who wanted it, so if I wanted it I could have it. I couldn't believe it. So on Tuesday Michael enlisted the help of his fire crew... Ice & Ben, and former fire crew... Paul & Danny, and they moved it home. It's got a lot of scratches and dings. It could use refinishing and needs tuning and probably a complete overhaul, but I can at least practice for church now which will be such a relief. Ty is so funny playing it. He just get his little pointer finger out and plunks away. I also am excited to start teaching Logan. He's just started expressing some interest lately, so it's just such a blessing.

Awesome Shan! I am so excited for you and also excited that Logan might learn to play!! Tell him that once he does we are going to be excited to hear some songs! I know you've wanted one for a while so I'm glad you finally got one!!!
That is so awesome! Nothing beats free! I'd love to get a piano so I could learn! I hope that Logan keeps up his interest and dives right in! Have you taught piano before Shan? Tell him we will also be looking forward to hearing some songs next time we see him!
I haven't ever given lessons and I'm kind of at a loss to even know where to start. You'd think I would remember from my own lessons, but I don't. I think I'm going to have to buy a book on piano teaching methods.
Hey Shannon. I am excited that you were able to get a free piano. That is way cool. Mom had mentioned it to me the other day. That is cool that Logan wants to learn to play. I don't remember how our piano lessons were started either. Hope to see you soon.
