News Update.

So, it may come as a surprise to most of you because we didn't want to tell anyone until we had something to tell... anyway... Michael applied for a job in Boise as the Helicopter Coordination Officer at NICC (National Interagency Coordination Center). It was an GS 11/12 position which would have been a great pay upgrade, but we just found out he didn't get it. Michael told me not to get my hopes up about it because it was a new position that we knew was generating a lot of interest. We know he made the final consideration list, and we don't know yet who got it, but it's really okay because we're happy where we're at. It would have been a great opportunity, but it's not like we're trying to get out of Cedar City, so we're both okay with it. Now we're probably going to take back up the house hunting and see if we can find a house to buy finally. We actually have one we really like, but it's always about the money and what we can and can't afford, so we're usually slow enough trying to decide to make an offer that we miss out and move on to the next house. Hopefully I'll get more decisive soon or we'll never buy a house.
