Memorial Day

So... we went up to Richfield for Memorial Day and on Saturday we made a quick trip to Ephraim to decorate the graves of Max's parents, Ken & Vera Reid. It was a rainy and chilly day, but it's always nice to see Aunt Joy and Aunt Bonnie (Max's sisters) and Peg is great to teach the kids what Memorial Day is all about. She made the beautiful flag/scrapbook page to decorate the graves and the gorgeous wheelbarrow arrangement that you'll see in the pictures.

Ty sitting with his namesake... Kenneth is his middle name and Max's dad's name.

Kaydence and Ty were fascinated with the sheep and had a little dispute. Ty kept saying MOO... MOO... and when Kaydence tried to correct him, he kept saying "No! MOO..."

Michael telling Logan a little bit about his great grandparents.

Ty allowing me to give him a love... that's what he does... allows you the privilege of loving on him... I think he actually likes it though.

Kaydence smelling the flowers.

Four generations... Ken & Vera, Max, Michael, and the boys... Ty, Logan, and Mycah.

This picture is of course totally unrelated to Memorial Day weekend, but I just wanted to post a picture of Zion Helitack. Michael and the crew are already working very hard... lots of project work, training, and part of the crew even got to fight a little single tree, lightening sparked fire already. I guess it is June... tis the season. Anyway, I'm pretty proud of him and what he does everyday. He works so hard and takes such good care of us too.
Be safe honey.

I love hearing of people passing on names and the reasons why. I think it gives the children something to live up to. Someone to look forward to meeting.

We are hoping to drive up to Utah in July and we wanted to stop in Cedar City and visit, if that's okay. Loved the number 1 music website. That was fun.
