So I had a great shopping trip to Albertson's today. I spent $21, but I saved $70! Woo Hoo!!!
This is what I got for $21...
Captain Crunch, 1 box ($1.49)
Life Cereal, 1 box ($1.49)
Quaker Oatmeal pancake mix, 2 boxes (free)
Angel Soft TP 12 regular rolls, 2 packages ($1.33 each)
Crystal Light Canister, 1 package ($0.33)
Dibs ice cream treats, 2 boxes ($1.50 each)
Nestle Choco Chip Cookie dough, 2 packages ($1.00 each)
Oscar Mayer hot dogs, 6 packages ($0.50 each)
Quaker Granola Bars, 4 boxes ($0.75 each)
2 gallons of milk ($1.99 each)
I'm liking this coupon clipping stuff. It's actually kind of fun. I would have saved even more, but I was too slow getting there and the Edge shave gel, Skintimate shave gel, and Bayer aspirin I wanted were sold out... they all would have been free. I'm learning though... got to get there on the first day of the ad if I can! I'm also trying to be conservative and make sure I'm just getting stuff we can use before it expires... trying not to overdo it. And I can't wait to get a freezer in the garage so I can start taking advantage of items I can freeze and frozen foods. The hot dogs I bought today took up almost all the free space in my little freezer.

Sweet job!! With the shaving gels can you get a raincheck and still get the savings?..I don't remember...I HATE going the first day, the stores down here are NUTSO ...so now I go super early on friday or tues. The trucks come on thurs night and monday night and are generally stocked that night.
Keep posting your deals! i love reading about them!
You go Girl! That's so awesome!
So, what are you doing? Do you get the newspaper, or do you get your coupons online? I want to know how to shop like you.
Way to go Shannon! I am attending a coupon class tonight that is supposed to teach the basics and then maybe I can be as good as you! It is so overwhelming! Liked the song idea in the other post...fun!
