Snow For Christmas!

So we woke up to a lot of new snow. The 4-5 inches that was predicted turned out to be more like 10-12 inches. And by the way, Iron County doesn't cancel school for anything... ever. They also don't try very hard to get the roads plowed before school starts. Michael said there were cars slid off the road everywhere, and he almost didn't make it out of the subdivision.

I owe our good old Jeep an apology too. I've been cussing it lately because it's burning oil and it has at least 2 different oil leaks, but we would have been snowed in without it this morning. I guess a vehicle that is 10 years old with 170,000 miles on it is due for a couple of minor problems. We love you Jeepy!

Michael is excited because he says he has a good start on the snow pile for a snow fort. Another couple of storms like this, and we will definitely have enough. Thanks to his work truck that won't start, he didn't have to shovel the whole driveway... if we don't get that thing out of here soon, it might be snowed in for the whole winter.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Fun snow!! We only got about 4 inches, but the kids loved it anyway. I like your blogs new look. Very festive and pretty. Tell Mike to quit messing around drinking hot chocolate or whatever that is and get building. The snow will only last until May.

I will take my 4 inches any day. I am not a cold climate person - anything below 60 is cold. I think it is funny that we had school canceled in LV because of snow. Growing up in ID, we saw a lot worse and still had to go to school. It really was not fun walking to school when it was -10 degrees!
