Blog Posting Slacker

I've been a slacker about posting on the blog. I've been thinking about it... really I have, but in the end I haven't been able to think of anything new or funny or interesting to say. So I'll just give you all a quick update on Michael. He's still in Northern California on the Iron Complex of fires which is northwest of Redding (did I spell that right?) on the Shasta Trinity National Forest. At times the smoke has been too thick for the helicopters to fly, but all in all they've been able to fly a lot of missions. He did find out that he will be home by the end of the day on Thursday... WOO HOO! By the way.... If you ever want to check out information on wildfires anywhere in the country, you can check the Wildfire Situation Report at this website. It's divided into regions and is updated once a day with the latest information.
