Richfield Geocaching
We went up to Richfield to visit Grams & Gramps over the weekend, and of course we had to check out a couple of caches on West Mountain. It was cold and snowed on Saturday, but we had fairly nice weather for Saturday morning and got some good excercise scrambling over and up all kinds of rocky terrain. It was fun. Of course after hiking and rock scrambling for quite some time, we realized we were not going to be able to get to the cache we were hunting for from where we were, so we hiked back to the Jeep and Michael and Gramps went back later to find it. It was buried near some cool petroglyphs (I'm not sure I spelled that right or if it's even the correct term :) We also found a cool one called "Where's Elmo" that had a really neat geocoin inside that was up for adoption, so we're hoping to adopt it from it's owner, pennypacker. I thought I'd share a couple of the pictures. Thanks, Grams & Gramps for a fun weekend of geocaching, playing the Wii, and just relaxing. By the way... if you haven't seen the movie "August Rush"... it's a must see... we rented it and just loved it.
